kodak_logo.jpgWe never thought it would happen, well at least not anytime soon.  Shoot a short film on film.  Whats the big deal?  The big deal is that pretty much everyone in SuperHouse shoots on a digital format, its available, cheap, and easy to work with... but what fun is that?  We know of the advantages of truly shooting a project on film, better resolution, color reproduction, classic "film look" without faking it, better dynamic range... but how and for how much?  All of these questions had put us off for quite some time... until we got a phone call from Kodak themeselves inviting us to a training session to better understand how to shoot on film.  We took them up on the offer... and we will keep you posted on what develops... pun intended... film... it needs to be developed... you know... in a dark room...

Special Thanks to the Detroit Women in Film and TV for hosting the event!
